Chairman's Note

I thank members of Henley Alumni Association of Malaysia for electing me as the President for the 2017-2019 period during the recent concluded Annual General Meeting held at Holiday Villa Subang Hotel, Malaysia.

We will continue to network closely with our members, both domestically and internationally to tap into the collective strength of the larger Alumni.
Dato' Yap Kuak Fong, Chairman of HAAM with Professor Jean-Pierre Choulet, Director of Alumni and Development, Henley Business School, UK

Henley Alumni Association Malaysia (HAAM) was established to facilitate networking for graduates. Henley alumni are active in many areas of industries; most of them are in key managerial positions and senior management levels in small and large business enterprises. Henley graduates are continuously looking for intellectual, social and career stimulation among fellow graduates from Henley Business School. Henley Business School at the University of Reading is currently a leading international business school and the university itself is ranked among the world's top 200 institutions.

Currently Henley Alumni has a global network features over 30,000 members internationally. Thus it offers our members a vast potential and opportunity to network not only within Malaysia, but also on a global basis.

Dato' Yap Kuak Fong with Professor John Board, Dean of Henley Business School, UK

With the rapid change and ever growing borderless business environment, we need to equip ourselves with the necessary knowledge, skills and competency level to compete in this new world order. We will continue to network closely with our members, both domestically and internationally to tap into the collective strength of the larger Alumni.

As we look forward, HAAM will continue to strive in providing a forum for closer cooperation and interchange among local members and their international counterparts, and will strive to enhance Henley's prominence as a major quality business school provider in the region.

I sincerely wish that members will support the various activities organized by us and hope members will regularly visit our website as it will foster better network and bring members together. I thank the Committee for their enthusiastic and continuing support in bringing HAAM to greater heights.

Thank you.

Dato' Yap Kuak Fong
Chairman, Henley Alumni Association
