Henley Alumni Association Malaysia (HAAM) annual dinner 2021 scheduled to be on Saturday, 27 February 2021 was unable to be held due to the on-going pandemic. In view of the restrictions on social gathering and dine in, HAAM held a Zoom virtual talk entitled ‘The Global Economic Outlook And Long Term Growth Opportunities In The Post-Pandemic Era’. Mr. Phang Kar Yew, the Group Executive Director and Co-founder of the Harveston Investment Group was the keynote speaker for the above feature talk.
More than twenty (20) members including Dr. Shelen Ho attended the talk with many interesting questions being raised after the talk. Mr. Phang presented his expert view as to where investors should put their money going forward.
Dato’ Yap Kuak Fong, the President of HAAM promised attendees that we shall meet up physically once the pandemic is under control and we are able to do so. The meeting lasted two (2) hours from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
