In view of the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, Henley Alumni Association – Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (HAAM) was unable to have our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the usual manner. HAAM adapted to this extra-ordinary time by hosting a virtual AGM via Zoom on 29th May 2021.
Some nineteen (19) members including Dr. Shelen Ho, Dr. Francis Lee, Mr. Edward Ng, Mr. Tony Hoe and Ms. Otelli Low joined this online meeting. A few other recent graduates such as Mr. Foong Wing Keong, Mr. Lee Ken Chern & Ms. Jaclyn Yeo also managed to join the meeting from Johor. This was one of the benefits we discovered by running the meeting online.
Dato’ Yap Kuak Fong, the President of HAAM presided as chairman for the AGM. The Activities Report and the Audited Accounts for year 2020 were tabled by the Honorary Secretary, Mr. Simon Lee and Honorary Treasurer, Mr. Allen Cheong respectively for acceptance by members as per the Constitution of HAAM. The AGM also elected Mr. Foong Wing Keong and Mr. Woo Chee Koon as new auditors to replace out-going auditors Mr. Yong Chee Keong and Mr. Edward Ng. The meeting ended at 4.00 pm and members took time to catch up with each other before and after the meeting.
