Henley Alumni Association – Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (HAAM) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 18th May 2024. The meeting this year was again conducted on a hybrid manner to facilitate members to attend the meeting physically and also to facilitate members from out-station to attend via Zoom.
Some twelve (13) members attended the AGM and we thank all the members who participated in this year’s AGM. Mr. Simon Lee, the Honorary Secretary, presented the Activities Report and Mr. Allen Cheong; the ever reliable Honorary Treasurer, presented the Audited Accounts for year 2023 respectively. The Activities Report and the Audited Accounts for 2023 were duly accepted by members who attended the AGM as per the Constitution of HAAM. Also in accordance with the Constitution of HAAM, members elected Mr. Yong Chee Keong and Ms. Yeo Jia Ling as new auditors for the accounts of year 2024. Dato’ Yap, the Chairman of HAAM expressed his appreciation for the events and activities conducted by the Johor Chapter for year 2023 & 2024 thus far and their effort to recruit new students to join HAAM.
The meeting ended at 12.30 pm after which members who attended physically went for lunch together.
