A delegation of students who are pursuing an executive course at the Henley Business School (HBS), South Africa visited Malaysia from the 10th to 12th of November 2024. The executive course is tailored made specially for the insurance industry in South Africa. This study tour was sponsored by the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) of South Africa. The delegation was led by Ms. Gene Van Heerden of HBS South Africa.
HAAM’s President, Dato’ Yap helped the delegation to arrange a visit to Lonpac Insurance Berhad for dialogue and to gather information regarding the working of the insurance industry in Malaysia as part of their study tour.
In appreciation of Dato’ Yap’s help, the delegation invited Dato’ Yap and Mr. Simon Lee to join in their dinner at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. We were feasted to a sumptuous Chinese dinner and had some good networking with the delegation members.
