Henley Alumni Association – Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (HAAM) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 17th May 2025. As usual, the meeting this year was again conducted on a hybrid manner to facilitate members to attend the meeting physically and also to facilitate members from out-station to attend via Zoom.
Some twelve (12) members attended the AGM and we thank all the members who participated in this year’s AGM. Mr. Simon Lee, the Honorary Secretary, presented the Activities Report and Mr. Allen Cheong; the ever reliable Honorary Treasurer, presented the Audited Accounts for year 2024 respectively. The Activities Report and the Audited Accounts for 2024 were duly accepted by members who attended the AGM as per the Constitution of HAAM.
In accordance with the Constitution of HAAM, there was an election to elect members to form a new executive committee for the 2025-2027 session. All the existing incumbents were retained for the new terms with younger members; Mr. Avienash Vilet elected to the post of Vice President 2 position, Mr. Edward Ng and Ms. Yeo Jia Ling were elected to the Deputy Honorary Secretary and Deputy Honorary Treasurer positions respectively. These younger members will be groomed to take over the running of HAAM in the future. Mr. Fong Wing Keong and Ms. Annie Ong were elected as the new auditors for the accounts of year 2025. Dato’ Yap, the Chairman of HAAM expressed his appreciation for all who attended the AGM and also the activities conducted for the year 2024 till year-to-date.
The meeting ended at 3 pm after which a new Exco Meeting was also conducted.
