For a change, Henley Alumni Association Malaysia (HAAM) hosted its Annual Dinner this year at the Sunway Hotel Johor Bahru on Saturday, 2nd May 2026. The event was fully organised by HAAM Johor Chapter under the leadership of Ms. Brenda Lyn Benedict, the President of Henley Business School Malaysia (HBSM) Alumni Johor Chapter. Ms. Brenda Lyn Benedict was assisted by a team of young and energetic organising committee and the liaison part with the Executive Committee in Selangor was well coordinated by Mr. Edward Ng.
The evening was full of vibrancy, energy and colour and the Organizing Committee coiled the theme “Enchanted Garden Gala” for the evening complete with a very colourful electronic backdrop and long table setup with careful finishing and detailing for a great sit-down dining experience.
Before dinner, Professor Teck Yong Eng, Dato’ Yap and Ms. Brenda Lyn Benedict each gave a short speech. Attendees were entertained to performance by the University’s own Music Club’s members with energetic music and singing. Games and lucky draws with many prizes sponsored by Sunway Hotel and industrial partners complete with a sumptuous meal with many varieties of foods were there to cater to all type of palates for those who attended the event. We had a record of more than 60 people including alumni executives from Selangor, students, industry partners and academics attending the dinner this year.
