To comply with the requirements of Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS), Henley Alumni Association – Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (HAAM) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 16th of May this year. As usual, the meeting was conducted on a hybrid manner to facilitate members to attend the meeting physically and also to facilitate members from out-station to attend via Zoom.
Some eleven (11) members attended the AGM and we thank all the members who participated in this year’s AGM. Simon Lee, the Honorary Secretary, presented the Activities Report and Mr. Allen Cheong; the ever reliable Honorary Treasurer, presented the Audited Accounts for the year ended on the 31st December 2025 respectively. The Activities Report and the Audited Accounts for 2025 were duly accepted by members who attended the AGM as per the Constitution of HAAM.
In accordance with the Constitution of HAAM, Mr. Ong Hock Tek and Ms. Foo Kar Mun were elected as the new auditors for the accounting year of 2026. Dato’ Yap, the Chairman of HAAM thanked the previous auditors; Mr. Foong Wing Keong and Ms. Annie Ong for their services to the association and expressed his appreciation for all who attended the AGM and also the activities conducted for the year 2025 till year-to-date.
The meeting ended at 11.45 am after which a new Exco Meeting was also conducted.
