A half day outing to Klang was organised for members residing in Selangor using the recently commissioned LRT Line 3 to savour the famous Klang ‘Bak Kut Teh’. Eight members including Dato’ Yap, Derek Poon, Allen Cheong, Simon Lee, Lor Kien Teck, Annie Ong, Yong Chee Keong and Albert Tan joined the outing. Allen also brought his son along. Five members took the train from Kayu Ara LRT Station and Annie started from Subang Jaya. We met at the Jambatan Kota Station and then proceeded to the famous Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh shop which is about 10 minute-walk away from the train station to try their famous Bak Kut Teh. After lunch, we proceeded to another very famous coffee shop, the Chong Kok Kopitiam, to try their coffee and kaya and butter toast. We wish to express our grateful thanks to Allen Cheong for treating us to lunch and to Albert Tan who paid for the coffee. Everyone who joined this outing enjoyed it thoroughly.
